yes, free to download and use. a pro tier is on the way, and the free app stays free.
do i need to connect my bank?
no. add bills by hand or upload a bill or statement. we never ask for your bank login.
how is this different from my bank app's reminders?
your bank app only sees what runs through that bank. billbuffer puts every bill in one place, whichever bank, card or account it comes out of, lines them up against your paydays, and works out what to set aside each pay so the big quarterly and yearly ones don't catch you short.
what happens to bills i upload?
they're read by AI to pull out the biller, amount and due date, and kept in your account. delete your account in settings and they go too.
where is my data stored?
the billbuffer API runs in Sydney, and your account, bills and uploads are stored with Supabase. some of the services we use process data overseas, including in the US. we never sell your data or share it for advertising. delete your account in settings and your profile, bills and payment history go with it.
